Overview:
The Territory Manager is responsible for prospecting, identifying and winning new business in accounts not held by the organization. The TM serves as the primary contact for the decision-makers and leads the sales process through relationships developed with the end user, A&D community, general contractors and commercial leasing agents. The TM works closely with Sales Management, Program Managers, Sales Coordinators and other company resources to successfully secure new sales revenue and profitable margin dollars.
Responsibilities:
Researches, contacts, qualifies, prepares and presents packaged solutions to acquire new accounts
- Networks extensively to develop leads and build relationships
- Proactively works with the Director of Sales to develop target account and identify lead sources
- Coordinates and leads sales efforts with other sales resources (e.g., Program - Manager, Product Specialists, Sales Coordinators, Manufacturers)
- Maintains on-going account management through Project Managers
- Annual business plan development and mid year reforecast
Compensation:
$70K+
Requirements:
High school graduate required. Post secondary education an asset. Minimum of five (5) years successful B2B selling experience required. Contract furniture industry experience essential, consultative selling experience a must. Extensive customer coaching experience, strong organizational skills and quantifiable leadership through delegation style. Creative selling, project coordination skills and strategic planning ability required.
