The candidate will be required to qualify customers’ needs and communicate innovative solutions. An understanding of the retail environment and the marketing of products to consumers will be huge advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Build account relationships offering a friendly personality, strong product knowledge and ability to understand retail application.




• Occasional travel to retail stores to look for product application, spot competitive opportunities and present solutions to customers.




• Order processing – Compilation of paperwork, recommend product enhancements and qualify for other opportunities.




• Properly and expeditiously handle all order-related problems and issues, seeking direction from Manager as needed.




• Understand paper flow and communicate with multiple departments on orders




• Articulately correspond with customers and operations on issue such as: stock status, ship dates, method of payment, and proof of delivery.




• Troubleshoot clients inquiries, and communicate innovative solutions




• Write letters for quotations, action plans to customers and formal status reports.




• Follow sales inquiries to completion through CRM software, maintain timely and relevant information and track sales.<




• Attend and actively contribute to weekly sales meetings.




• Recommend products and/or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction, sales potential, and new product development




• Ability and willingness to be cross trained and perform across all functions of the client services team






Compensation:

$50-55K base salary + 15-20% commission

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience




• Retail and marketing experience an asset




• Strong presentation skills




• Advanced written and verbal communication skills




• Strong mathematical and analytical skills




• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and CRM




• Ability to multitask on an on-going basis




• Positive attitude and upbeat personality




• Highly organized




• Problem-solver – ability to define problems, evaluate data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions




• Will work closely with Outside Sales, Finance, Production And Logistics departments




• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in business, marketing, customer service or related area an asset




Could lead into an O/S role but might more interest a senior sales person that wants to move into an inside sales role focusing on bigger accounts
