Overview:
Our client who is a leading manufacturer of clean energy and hydrogen fuel cells requires an international Sales Manager based in Vancouver. This highly experienced candidate will be responsible for the low volume and extremely high value business development and sales growth of Power Processing Products.
Responsibilities:
• Acquire and retain a broad base of customers in various industries.
• Use business development and strategic sales skills paired with technical knowledge to meet and exceed sales goals set by upper management.
• An entrepreneurial gifting and proven track record of networking through referrals, and established business channels.
• Ability to build strong business relationships at all levels of an organizations
• Prospecting for new business, preparing/presenting proposals, and maintaining relationships.
• Proven ability to “Close Deals” in an efficient and profitable manner by leveraging consultative selling techniques.
• Maintain high level of product knowledge.
• Develop and implement market development plans.
• Serves as point of contact for customer issues.
• Provide management with valuable and reliable field feedback related to products, competition, pricing, and market dynamics.
• Responsible for sales forecasting and reporting.
Compensation:
$100K +
Requirements:
• Application engineering experience is an asset
• Proven high value low volume sales experience required.
• 5-10 years of proven sales experience in various technical fields
• Proven track record of thinking and selling strategically.
• Extensive travel, is required.
• Knowledge of battery/fuel cell/alternatively-fueled vehicle terminology, marketplace and concepts a plus.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
• Self motivated and ability to excel with minimum supervision.
