Responsibilities:
Business Development Manager
A leading mining supply company based in Vancouver supplies customers in the mining and construction industries with reliable equipment solutions. Their service offerings include a unique range of services in earthmoving equipment, used parts and maintenance services. They have impressive growth plans and are expanding their client relationships team.
Compensation:
$100K +
Requirements:
To support this growth they seeking a high caliber individual who will work as an integral part of their sales and business development team to lead the company’s growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with key clients in the earthmoving and mining industry and will have the following profile:
• A results-driven professional with business acumen
• The capability of developing and maintaining long-term client relationships
• Proficient at assessing client needs, negotiating service agreements, and
in providing exceptional client support
• Exceptional commercial and contract negotiation skills and contract
management capabilities
• A thorough understanding of open pit mining practices specifically with regards to mining truck fleets and equipment and heavy equipment management and utilization
• At least 10 years experience in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance systems and fleet management
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineerin(Mining,
Mechanical, or Civil) is preferred
