We are looking for an Account Executive to join our growing sales team. Our Account Executives manage and develop business with an ever growing portfolio of international clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Olympus, Sony, etc.
Our ideal candidates are energetic and enthusiastic individuals with a strong passion for sales. Successful Account Executives must have a strong drive to expand the business both vertically and horizontally.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• New business development (fortune 500 medical device and pharmaceutical companies)
• Leverage contacts and present to potential clients
• Perform sales pitches on the phone
• Display competency and proficiency in developing strategies, identifying decision makers, solve and interpret sales objections
• Proposal writing and follow-up
• Negotiation and product pricing
• Soliciting feedback to refine sales direction, product offering and pitches
• Liaise with analyst team to capitalize on leads
• Liaise with marketing team to ensure marketing activities are aligned with sales priorities
• Cold call to create and maintain long-term relationships as necessary to meet targets
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
• Strong interpersonal, writing, organizational, problem solving and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Professionalism
• Ability to communicate and work in congruence with corporate culture and philosophy
• Flexibility in time availability to service our clients’ unique needs globally
• Must be strongly motivated to meet and exceed sales goals
• Interest and/or experience in the medical / life sciences field
• Internet savvy and fluent in MS-Office
• Experience selling to Director and VP level executives in large corporations is an asset
• Hold at least a Bachelor Degree, preferably with a focus in Business or Life Sciences
• Experience in sales/marketing in a B2B environment is an asset
• Driven to succeed, self-starter, with a successful record of sales growth
• Team Player
Compensation is salary based with a generous commission structure. Third year earning potential is close to $100,000. To this is added full extended health including dental, eye-care, prescriptions and paramedics, as well as a substantial bonus program, and the opportunity to move into higher level roles.
