Job Title: Medical Sales Associate

Department: Sales

Territory: Vancouver Island

Reports to: Western Canada Regional Manager



Summary



The Sales Associate is responsible for proving clinical support, service, and training to decision makers, surgeons, nurses and all other health care professionals. Superior customer service is expected as well as being the eyes and ears to help seek new opportunities while maintaining existing account relationships.



Rep Duties/Responsibilities:



• Works with BC Distributors to service existing accounts

• Developing and managing customer relationships and loyalty with customers

• Providing Orthopedic knowledge to all health care roles

• Organizes and executes product in servicing to new or current accounts

• Helps coordinate and participates in conventions, meetings, and labs

• Looks for new opportunities within assigned accounts

• Point of contact for solving customer complaints and needs

• Responsible for proving pricing and/or quotes for accounts

• Performs other duties as assigned



Rep Expectations/Requirements:



• Completion of post-secondary program

• Knowledge of medical terminology and provincial health care system

• Displays a positive service oriented attitude

• Work towards being an expert on products and related surgical procedures

• Is able to sell not just service

• Exhibits good time management skills in a time

• Sets individual targets and is self motivated to reach these

• Capable of selling the entire product line

• Accepts that he/she can’t do it all

• Is a team player

• Is competitive and driven by success and reputation

• Comfortable interacting with professionals (hospital staff, surgeons, nurses, secretaries etc…)

• Comfortable analyzing territory sales, quotas, units, and inventory





Compensation:

70k+++
