Overview:

Base: $55-60K, mileage, + incentive uo to $900/mo
Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics department.
POSITION SUMMARY:
• Plan, coordinate and monitor all truckload, less than truckload freight using our own or partner carrier equipment
• Effectively negotiate truckload and less than truckload rates with customers and carriers in order to remain competitive in the market while maintaining an acceptable profit margin
• Communicate dispatch information and assist with driver inquiries
• Forming relationships with quality carriers
• Advise Customer Service promptly of any impending service failures
Compensation:
$55-60K + bonus
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Must have 3 to 5 years Logistical andor Planning experience
• Extensive knowledge of carriers and truckload industry.
• Knowledge of truckload and less than truckload pricing in the Canadian marketplace
• Has demonstrated strong attention to detail
• Has demonstrated accountability in their decision making
• Effective communications skills (listening, verbal and written)
• Must maintain a positive attitude with both internal and external customers
• Good analytical, mathematical and problem solving techniques
• Working knowledge of Link Logistics, Excel and Operations computer programs
• Ability to work on your own as well as a team player
• Effective knowledge of transit time and trip planning
• Effective geographical knowledge of Canada and the U.S.A.
Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
