Overview:

Our Client in Vancouver continues to experience exciting growth fuelled by a constant stream of new and challenging client engagement opportunities. They are seeking a Director to join and lead their Mining Team.





Responsibilities:

Assume a leadership role in professionally promoting and enhancing the profile and brand of our client throughout Canada and abroad.



Proactively develop and lead the implementation of our client’s strategic plan.



Lead the marketing of the company’s services to the mining sector in Canada abroad and develop opportunities consistent with the company’s vision and strategic plan.



Lead the development of new and technically innovative solutions including feasibility studies, equipment valuations, business/financial modeling etc. by providing superior technical advice and support



Compensation:

165K +

Requirements:

An experienced, highly respected and well-known mine or energy sector professional who brings with them an extensive network of contacts in the Canadian mining industry



Direct experience with improving the efficiency and reliability of equipment; operational cost control aimed at reducing costs in mining operations



At least 5 years consulting experience and at least 5 years industry experience in the mining or energy sectors



Proven technical and analytical capabilities



Strong communication, presentation and report writing skills



Strong leadership skills, and experience in diverse projects and managing project teams



Proven track record of business development
