Responsibilities:

Key tasks: Technical Management

• Maximize the Western Canadian region’s sales and growth by providing timely and outstanding technical support to the regional sales team and for their industrial baking customer base

* you will have the expertise to work with bakery industry production staff to ensure the products are being used effectively

• Assist the regional team to drive new sales development into different customer segments such as Artisan, Wholesale, Industrial, QSR and Distributor

• Demonstrate newly developed products and concepts, either on an individual basis or through collective demonstrations with other colleagues. Provide weekly activity & progress reports

• Maintain close contact with all assigned customers in the region to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. Proper follow up of customer complaints and ensure satisfactory resolution

• Meet or exceed all standards for trouble shooting, proposing and presenting solutions to technical problems

• Work closely with Product Development and Marketing personnel to develop new products and concepts

Requirements:

Our client requires a talented Food Science/ Culinary Arts-trained baking products expert, with practical industry experience in baking & patisserie for this Industrial Baking Products - Technical Support Rep position in the Vancouver region. Baking industry exposure to Grocery, Food Service, Artisan or Industrial Baking operations is an asset.

This role will report to the Regional Sales Manager. Priority will be given to candidates living in the Vancouver region.

Additional required skills include:

* Excellent presentation and listening skills

* A strong understanding of the product needs, usage & process of Baking Departments in the various industry channels

* Capable to organize, plan and execute tasks reliably and independently

* Able to think logically around issues & tasks and provide solutions * Strong understanding of Baking product dynamics and customer relationship management

* Proficient in MS Office

This role will offer a competitive Base Salary, along with a very aggressive Sales Bonus plan and also a strong Commission program based on Regional performance. OTE = $65,000 to $80,000 depending on candidate qualifications, plus a vehicle allowance and gas package, plus extensive Employee Benefits..
